Luckily for us, the Chinese government is now allowing tourists to leave the airport and do some sight seeing without a VISA. In this time frame, there would be time to see at least 2 of the Chinese landmarks (probably the great wall and the forbidden city). Were others as fortunate on their long layover in Beijing?
